*Seven Directions Cabernet Franc Rosé 2023 – NEW RELEASE!
$28.00
The savouriness of this wine is undeniable! On the nose this wine offers stunning aromas of fresh picked raspberry, wild strawberry, peach, melon, a bright and defined sage component, and also just a hint of violet. The palate is so well balanced between freshness, alcohol, texture and well-defined acidity.

Due to severe frost damage in December 2022, Daniel Bontorin sourced his Cabernet Franc grapes away from his usual Fruitvale Ridge vineyard in Oliver. This time, he’s going to Osoyoos with another fantastic vineyard for this highly anticipated Cab Franc Rosé release. On the nose this wine offers stunning aromas of fresh picked raspberry, wild strawberry, peach, melon, a bright and defined sage component, and also just a hint of violet. The palate is so well balanced between freshness, alcohol, texture and well-defined acidity. In terms of flavour, I can detect a wide range of red berry fruits like red cherry, strawberry and blueberry, but also kiwi and guava, which bring a tropical aspect to this very charming wine. The savouriness of this wine is undeniable! I can sense the sagebrush from the South Okanagan transfer from the nose into the palate. The finish is highlighted by a slight marine salinity and a long pulsing sensation which brings length, vibrancy and energy.
