Welcome to Bottega Wine Studio™. The studio of a master artist. Through passion and creativity, winemaker Daniel Bontorin crafts exceptional rosé and small lot wines of purity and uniqueness. Family owned and operated; this fun, sustainably-farmed boutique winery produces wines from one-of-a-kind Okanagan terroir. We are located in Cawston, British Columbia right in the heart of the rugged Similkameen Valley.
The Similkameen Wine Region is a pristine stretch of vineyards is set amongst a dramatic backdrop of rugged and mountains. The special combination of altitude, sunshine, moisture, wind, and unique soil combine to create the perfect conditions for our wines. Here, we craft award-winning wines in very limited volumes led by husband-and-wife team Daniel and Kristine Bontorin.
At Bottega Wine Studio™, our winemaker Daniel is committed to low intervention winemaking, creating a premium portfolio of exceptional wines through their three brands: Bottega Wines™, Seven Directions Wine, and K Little Vintners™. Daniel specializes in crafting rosé and small lot wines from Okanagan grapes that he feels display the highest potential for producing great wines, like Pinot Noir, Merlot and Cabernet Franc.

Life never moves in the way you expect it. It has been more than a decade since Daniel and Kristine met and instantly fell in love. In 2015, the down to earth couple were married, and blended their families into a family of 7.
Their entrepreneurial spirits were in full force when they combined their artistic talents, winemaking experience, and passion into a new business venture, Bottega Wine Studio™.
Daniel and Kristine have always kept one question top-of-mind: “What’s next?” Their dream was to purchase their own vineyard and build an estate winery. In 2019, their dream came true when Daniel and Kristine bought a property in a gorgeous setting, the Similkameen Valley.
The winery is surrounded by rolling countryside’s, small farms, orchards, fruit stands, cideries, and artisan studios. From their humble beginnings as garagistes, they have grown, not only as a couple, but have built Bottega Wine Studio into a destination.

Daniel and Kristine are very grateful to call the Similkameen Valley home. They have planted just over 3.5 acres of vineyard on their Solum Rosa estate that includes Pinot Noir, Cabernet Franc and Grenache to support and grow their Seven Directions rosé portfolio.
The couple also source grapes from sustainable growers that produce exceptional grapes.
With the Tasting Room now completed, the Bontorin’s proudly open the doors to a relaxed wine country experience. Come escape the routine of everyday life, breathe easy and savor some new small lot wines. Your tour starts in the vineyard, then takes you inside to learn how Daniel makes premium wines.
